John Wardle Architects
Linea Sliding Door with Custom Perforations
John Wardle Architects practice is collaborative with collective skills of the office brought together to create and manage new design solutions. The John Wardle team worked with Planex to create a custom Linea sliding door storage to support the diverse storage needs of their practice. Featuring unique circular perforation patterns the cabinets are fitted with acoustic rated sound absorbing material to minimise noise in the workspace. Within the space Linea acts as a storage hub, a sound break and an anchor point.
Guardian Early Learning Centre QLD
Custom S-Series Cabinet
Planex worked closely with senior architect Christina Markham to create customised S-Series mobile shelving for children for the Charlotte St fitout. Castors offer the perfect solution for the childcare facility, allowing for maximised floor space. The product features open shelving and lockable doors secures the design ensuring no risk of children injuring themselves or getting hands or feet stuck in the cabinet.
University Of Western Sydney
A new philosophy for learning, collaborating and sharing inspired the design and fit-out of the University of Western Sydney’s new Parramatta campus. Designed by Woods Bagot, the facility promotes a social environment where people can connect with each other in serendipitous ways. Planex was engaged to design customised lockers that addressed the multiple requirements of storage, aesthetics and existing joinery.
xLocker2 System with Acoustic Rated Perforations
Planex was engaged by designers Topic Interiors to supply steel storage solutions to complement the fitouts joinery components and modernised workstations. Located at 44 market st Sydney, the interior features xLocker2 system and Linea sliding door cabinets with Flox planter box tops to add greenery and promote wellness in the workplace. With acoustic rated perforated panels fitted, the storage doubles as an aid to reduce workplace noise. Powder coats are available in over 150+ colours and finishes.
Stonnington City Council
Slyder Personal Storage
Located at 311 Glenferrie Road, Stonnington City Council’s colourful flagship office celebrates the redevelopment of the original three-storey office. Designed by William Ross architects, the interior provides a light-filled workplace over three levels featuring open plan areas and formal/informal meeting zones. Planex was engaged to supply Slyder personal storage and acoustic rated Linea sliding door cabinets with Flox planter boxes tested to reduce workplace noise.

An immersive space designed within a heritage setting, Swarovski’s new headquarters were designed by The World Is Round with a monochromatic palate abundant in natural light to demonstrate the sophistication of the brand. Planex was engaged to develop a custom solution to address multiple storage, aesthetic and acoustic requirements. Linea Sliding Door and xLocker2 with acoustic perforations provided the space with a customised solution.
