Liberty Financial approached KHID to complete their workplace masterplan, design and fit-out to adopt an agile and collaborative workspace to suit the modern workforce. As you walk into the reception area there is a serenity and warmth to the interior featuring an impressive marble reception desk with copper detailing and the Melbourne CBD skyline framing the reception on either side.
The attention to detail is no less impressive as you enter the central workplace. The breakout area has all the added extras to increase social engagement amongst the staff including board games, an impressive coffee-making facility and a fancy assortment of treats. This workplace has followed all the feedback post-pandemic on how to create a vibrant work culture.
Included in the new fit-out is the xLocker2 System with the Buunhu perforation pattern designed by Yuwaalaraay woman Lucy Simpson which creates a beautiful artwork framing the space. Sitting alongside this is a painting by Kate Constantine, a proud Gadigal woman of the Eora nation. KHID’s selection of First Nations artwork in the workplace enables all employees the opportunity to engage and connect to stories that are part of the knowledge system of First Nations people. This is something Planex is proud to support and why we have incorporated three different perforation designs within the range by Lucy Simpson.
Planex is pleased to work with leading designers and assist in the creation of functional workplaces. It is apparent to all how important locker storage has become post-covid as the workplace evolves. The team at KHID have done a great job at integrating the needs of the staff into the Liberty fit-out.
